Cute Headbands

 Brought some plain headbands a couple weeks ago and decided to use some Yoyo's for flowers on them ,then the red rose is made from gathered satin. I sold 3 of them yesterday

Card Trick Block

                    When Mom came down to Visit she had this block made up and we all love it ! My sister's daughter-in-law's mother was wanting a pattern, so I took pictures for her hoping she can figure it out .
Maybe I will try this someday ,but right now I have  3 other quilt projects I have got to get done! 1st is a baby quilt that should have already been done, as our little great grand daughter Elaina was born last night !

Pillows From Mom

I got a surprise from Mom  , she sent these beautiful pillows to me as another Christmas gift. The Square's are 1 1/2 inch each. I love the way she pieced them together! Thank You Mom!!

More Full Skirts

 Made 2 more full skirts for Chloe and Sarah when I got back from Mom's in Dec.

Then 2 more skirts for Great Grand daughter Emily and her little sister,.I really enjoyed making them they were easy to make , just time consuming!

Paper Snow Flakes-Winter Sunset

Sarah had come to stay with me while her Mom was gone , we got bored so I came up with the idea of making snow flakes as it was cold that particular day.

She asked what we were going to do with them ,I said we will hang them on the window , she wanted to use ribbon so we did that ,I will keep them up as long as it is cold .We did have 2 weeks of warm weather but got cold last night ,so they are still there.

YoYo's From a Friend

Our Pastor and his wife Robin went to West Virginia last summer to see her parents, she brought these pre-made yoyo's for me , I have not decided yet what I want to do with them.
They are bigger than the ones I usually make and already sewn together, so I thought maybe a pillow or handbag and since they are dark ones I cannot decide the color background to use.
But thats ok I hope to make or rather dye more fabric then I will decide how I want it displayed.

She had asked me at Thanksgiving time if I could make her one like i made for her Mom and Aunt's Tammy & Samantha. I Told her I would.

 Back in 2004 my sister and I made 5 or 6 and we put inside our favorite family recipes. Then I made stamps to stamp what it was, like fish for Salmon patties or tuna Casserole, cookies , cakes, Brocolli and etc. We had fun making them .

 We tried to burn the edges but it was so time consuming and not a great idea, so we just ended up tearing the edges of the brown paper bags we used , We added extra paper for them to add new recipes when needed .

 Cheyenne was thrilled about the apron and the cookbook.

I need to make one for myself as I have a ton of new ones and need a book to put them in!

I made 5 of these at Moms and 4 more at home . we also made 4 dresses ,and 5 black corduroy jackets with yellow fur. Plus and few other things .

New Skirts for Girls

The white cotton Lace on these skirts are from some white valances that were given to me ,I thought the lace would be beautiful for the girls a skirt for Church.
