Birthday gift for Kayla

 The girls and I made several of these blue Jean beads . One of them was for Kayla 

This is a painting with buttons that Kayla saw on Pinterest and she asked me if I could make her one, so I did, but it is nothing like the one we saw .I used buttons and the other one looked more like drops of thick paint .

This is a T-shirt necklace with zipper flower and hair clip with a zipper flower .

Showing the whole necklace ,I cut strips of a t-shirt and stretched it then added a pin zipper flower.
 I gave these to Kayla for her birthday , it was late but said she love them !

Free Hand ~Free Motion Quilting

 This is a Quilt that Mom asked me to quilt for her while I was there,
 I had to use her old singer, it needed a little bit of work first, then I was able to quilt it.
 I did this free hand all over, Mom and I were both  happy with it.
 I think I will use the same design on one of the baby quilts I need to make .

Doll Made By A Friend

A Friend of mine that works at Walmart showed me this doll she made for her grand daughter.She did some amazing machine embroidery work on the dolls face , you can hardly tell it was done at home, that's how good it is.
She said it was done on a Brother Embroidery Machine and with her daughters help she made the face. and then made the rest of the doll .
She is a great seamstress and has made many things for her grand children.She said she wants to make a couple more for gifts.
I would love to have a machine like hers ,maybe some day ........

All of these are ready for quilting , some will be done by hand and some by machine.

Afagan for Jeanie

                 I have a friend at church that had asked me if I crochet , I told her that Mom and I both did .
She said she had 74 Granny Squares that her mother had crocheted many years ago,she had them in her closet since her Mom passed on and was wanting the granny squares put together I told her that Mom was better at that, so I took all 74 squares to her and we decided that they needed to have them outlined in black to make it look better and to make it bigger . However there were 15 squares that she could not use because of the yarn being a more light weight yarn, so Mom made an extra 26 squares to make it 90 squares all together.
                   Mom got the black and finished it ,had it almost done in July when I was there but not quite , so she added a scalloped edge to it and made it look so much better.
                   I brought it home with me this time and Jeanie was very happy with the results .So excited that it was done!!
                   Mom has made lots of them just like this one.I have one too.
                   Maybe some day I will make one like it .
