This is raw applicaded and has lots of bead work.Close up below.
I followed a pattern from a book I brought from HeartFelt on sale,I just had to make one. The book is called Dazzling Quilts by Pamela Mostek, I used the Floral Fantasy pattern . I chose my own fabric that I brought at JoLee's Quilt Shop in Mayo,FL.
I beaded it with all differnt kinds and sizes of beads and no 2 flowers are alike.
 I named it "Splendar".
I received Honorable Mention 4 years ago at White Springs Quilt show.

Blue Jean Apron

I saw something like this on Facebook or Pinterest .Lots of family & friends made a comment that they loved it, so I decided to try one .
This is the first one,  and I think it turned out pretty good , so I have more ready to sew up .I just need to make them different sizes as this one is pretty small.

Memorial Day

OH, say can you see,
by the dawn's early light, What so proud-ly we hailed at the twi-light's last gleamimg? Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the per-il-ous fight, O'er the ram-parts we watched, were so gallant-ly streaming? And the rock-ets red glare, the bombs burst-ingin air, gave proof thro' the nightthat our flag was still there, Oh, say does that Star-span-gled Ban-ner yet wave O'er the land of the free, and the home of the brave?

I will always remember my father Chester Schoonover who was so proud of our flag ,he fought in WW!! and was injured in a tank,  he was a Captain to the American Legion Honor Guard....his father Lee Schoonover fought in WW1,they will always be in my heart ,also in memory of all the men who fought and died in service.
My husband is also very proud ,he makes sure the flag is flying on these special days.

Kool-aid and Carpi Sun Juice Handbags

My grandchildren have been drinking these, so I told them to start saving them for me to make handbags, they did for awhile and then quit.
I had forgotten about them myself until I came across a grocery bag full of the Carpi Sun bags, so I decide to give it a try .
I have to admit they at kind of rough on the machine, so I make sure I use a heavy duty needle and a zig-zag stitch and my old machine I keep just for blue jean work, they turned out pretty good.
I made 6 for the Art, Craft and Yard Sale, I sold all but one. I am making more for our next sale we will be having in Nov.
I also need to make my grand daughters all one as they keep after me for the last one.

Wind Chimes

These are some new wind Chimes I made for the Craft sale ,unfortunately none of them sold this time .
However I enjoyed making them even though it was time consuming !
My favorite is the first one I brought a whole bag of just these shells 2 years ago , so I had to carefully drill tiny holes in them with a dremel tool and I used heavy fishing line  for the shells ,I used a ham pattie tin can for the top,and covered it with the fan shells and sea shell sand.

The silverware and platter was fun to make I wrapped each spoon and fork with jewelry wire because we did not have a proper drill bit for stainless steel ,then I used fishing line for the beads .I was able to pound the holes in the platter as it is a cheap platter from Dollar store.

The last one was mussel shells , I did not like the ugly black so I use lots of glue and the sea shell sand, then inside each one I put another smaller shell,. I did the same to the top on this one too.
